Local Art Exhibition by Cambridge Alumnus – Patrick Earle, Everyday Colour 2022

With 20% of art work sold on the opening night, the Everyday Colour Exhibition by Patrick Earle has been a success on the island.

The exhibition was on show at the Beau Sejour’s David Ferguson Hall till the 29th of May 2022. It was a charitable event, proceeds of which went to the Art for Guernsey Foundation and the Samaritans.

As the Secretary of the Guernsey Cambridge Society, Patrick saw a wonderful turn out from the fellow alumni who enjoyed his intensely vibrant and inspiring work.

Visitors reported that it was an invigorating experience to allow the meaning of the bright abstract pieces to evoke an inner human dialogue of positive, grand and challenging emotions in them.

According to Jock Petitt, Art for Guernsey director, Patrick’s art “needed space to run and breathe – it needed to have a presence and it needed space”.

As the fellow local alumni, we wish Patrick further success and more exhibition opportunities in Guernsey and abroad!
