Since students from Guernsey attending universities in England are now guaranteed to pay home fees, the Society has been working with the local schools to inform their Sixth Form students about the application process to the University of Cambridge.
During school visits, our members share their experiences of the application process and answer any student questions.
This year, our Chairman, Marc Cohen, has worked with the Blanchelande College on a number of occasions. Together with Max Wong, Marc met with prospective applicants to help them better understand the intricacies of the collegiate system, choosing a college and has advised on their personal statements.
We hope to continue working with the College in the future and wishing all the applicants the best of luck!
